WAPPINGER – A man and woman have been arrested for allegedly stealing
over $9,000 worth of jewelry from a store in Wappinger in October 2016.
Rocco Cardascia, 29, of Poughkeepsie and Casey Owen, 29, of Mamaroneck
were both charged with burglary, criminal mischief and grand larceny,
all as felonies.
An investigation revealed the two were responsible for the burglary.
Cardascia and Owen were remanded to the Dutchess County Jail, Cardascia
on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond and Owen on $1,500 cash bail or $3,000
bond.
State Police were assisted by East Fishkill and Poughkeepsie Town Police
and Fishkill Village Police.
