TOWN OF CLAVERACK – A Copake man was reported in stable condition at Albany Medical Center on Saturday following an early morning one-car accident on Columbia County Route 11 near Mc Brown Road in the Town of Claverack.
Sheriff’s deputies said a car, driven by Martin Rollins, 29, left the road striking a large boulder then continuing on striking several trees before coming to rest on its side. Rollins was alone in the vehicle.
Police said the investigation is continuing. They are looking at speed as a major factor.
