Two charged with possessing counterfeit credit cards

MONROE – A traffic stop on Route 17 in the Town of Monroe led to the arrests of two people for possessing several counterfeit credit cards along with a credit card reader/writer/encoder.
Jermaine Smith, 39, of the Bronx and Keyonia Solomon, 18, of Ohio were each charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument and criminal possession of forging device. Smith was also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Both were sent to the Orange County Jail.  Smith is held without bail.  Solomon’s bail was set at $100,000 cash or $250,000 bond.
