Georgia woman charged with entering prison to live ammo

STORMVILLE – A Georgia woman, who went to Green Haven Correctional
Facility to visit a prisoner, was arrested on Sunday, June 25 for promoting
prison contraband as a felony.
Aiesha Jenkins, 28, of Lilburn, Georgia entered the prison while in
possession of live 9 mm ammunition.

She was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bond.

Her arrest followed a joint investigation by the State Police and Department
of Corrections and Community Supervision Office of Special Investigations.
