GOSHEN – Elected positions in Orange County that may go unchallenged by Democrats this fall may eventually have opponents, the chairman of the party said.
Brett Broge said with the introduction of Patrick Davis as the Democratic
candidate for Orange County executive, other potential candidates may
surface.
“I have had inquiries for vacant legislative seats, for vacant county court seat; we will see if people follow through or not,” Broge said. “It is still possible that some of the places that we have vacancies may actually end up having candidates by the end of the petition deadline.”
To date, the only candidate for county court judge is Republican William DeProspo.
