TOWN OF WAWARSING – A
prominent yeshiva teacher from Monsey was found dead in his bed at the
Kasho Camp in the Town of Wawarsing on Monday morning, police said.
The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office is investing the death of the
man, who sources within the Hasidic community identified 38-year-old Pinchas
Weinberger, whose father, Hillel Weinberger, is a rabbi in Mt. Kisco.
The cause of death is not known at this time as the investigation is in
its early stages, police said. It is not suspicious in nature, they said.
