New Windsor bicyclist run over by car

NEW WINDSOR – A New Windsor
woman has been issued several citations including failure to exercise
due care and improper turn after her car struck a man riding a bike on
Tuesday afternoon.

New Windsor Police said Shandrieka Davis, 30, was making a right turn
from George Greene Drive onto Temple Hill Road at 4:25 p.m. when she struck
Bruce Minter, 51, of New Windsor, who was riding a bicycle. He became
trapped under the vehicle and had to be extricated.

He was later transported by helicopter to Westchester Medical Center where
he was being treated for his injuries, the extent of which were not known
to police.
