Reyes in 1989
POUGHKEEPSIE – State Police continue to investigate the disappearance
of a man form the Harlem Valley Psychiatric Center back on November 11,
1989.
Louis Reyes, who was 23 at the time he went missing, was being treated
at the facility on a voluntary basis for a mental disability. He would
be 51 today.
He was last seen at Harlem Valley on November 10, 1989, wearing a blue
or gray sweatshirt and jeans.
He was approximately five feet, six inches tall, weighing 152 pounds,
with brown eyes and brown hair.
Several leads were explored throughout the investigation, including tips
leading police to Connecticut and New York City.
