KINGSTON – An Ulster County man and woman were arrested by Kingston City Police on Monday following an investigation into an unattended death at a Clinton Avenue residence.
During that investigation officers came in contact with Treva Christian, 34, of Port Ewen. He became combative with the officers and after a struggle, was taken into custody and charged with obstructing governmental administration.
As the investigation continued, police learned that certain items had been tampered with at the scene. Toni-Ann Nevit, 40, f Kingston, was interviewed. Police determined she had allegedly removed items from the scene before officers got there. She was charged with tampering with physical evidence.
