AMENIA – State Police arrested a Wassaic man on a felony charge of predatory sexual assault against a child.
A Wassaic woman reported to police that she had been the victim of a sexual offense. An investigation revealed that John Moran, 64, allegedly subjected the woman, then a child under the age of 13, to a course of sexual contact that occurred over several years. The abuse took place at Moran’s home in the Town of Amenia.
Moran was placed in to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.
