Phillips named chairman of Hospice board

GOSHEN – Former Orange County District Attorney Frank Phillips has been elected chairman of the Board of Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties.  He has been a member of the board since 2007 and served as vice president from 2015-2017, and succeeds former Orange County Court Judge Jeffrey Berry as chairman.
Joseph Smith is the new vice chairman and new board members are Faith Ferguson, Lauren Rowley, and Derrick Saunders.
Hospice provides palliative care to some 1,000 patients per year in Orange, Sullivan and Ulster counties.
