One week and counting.  Coach USA CEO George Grieve, Orange
County Executive Steve Neuhaus and Stewart Airport General
Manager Ed Harrison conduct a run-through of check-in
procedures at the Norwegian Airlines counter.  The first
flight to
Europe departs a week from today.

STEWART AIRPORT – In one week, Norwegian Air will begin its direct flights from Stewart International Airport to Europe and the Newburgh area airport is rolling out the red carpet.
Stewart Manager Ed Harrison said the airline will be providing curbside check-in for departing passengers.
“There will be a person behind a kiosk, behind a computer that will check you in,” Harrison said. “They expect a good portion of their passengers will just have back-packs and not even check-on bags, so that you check in there and just walk right to the gate.”
Stewart will also, for the first time, have a duty-free shop for international
travelers and the restaurant on the concourse level will have a liquor
license.
First flights will be to Edinburg, Scotland with service to Ireland, Northern Ireland and Norway starting in July.
