POUGHKEEPSIE – A Poughkeepsie
attorney, had been charged with inappropriate sexual conduct with a client,
has been charged a second time.
The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office charged Wayne Thatcher, 63,
with a second count after another person came forward with information
about another incident. The latest case occurred in the Town of Poughkeepsie
where Thatcher was arraigned and posted bail.
Sheriff’s Captain John Watterson said the investigation is continuing
and anyone with information involving Thatcher is asked to call the sheriff’s
office detective bureau at 845-486-3820 and ask for Detective Harris.
