Catskill man arrested for having meth in his car

TOWN OF ULSTER – A traffic
violation led to the arrest of a Catskill man on drug possession charges.

State Police spotted Michael Notarnicola, 37, violating traffic law in
Interstate 587 last Monday, May 15. Investigation led to the discovery
of 2.6 grams of a white and clear crystalline substance believed to be
methamphetamine.

Police also found marijuana and paraphernalia used to smoke methamphetamine.

Notarnicola was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled
substance and unlawful possession of marijuana as a violation.
He was remanded to the Ulster County Jail without bail.
