NIVERVILLE – The one-year-old
girl, who was found unresponsive in a swimming pool on Friday, later died,
State Police reported on Sunday.
The child was found in the pool at a private residence at 5:30 p.m. and
was rushed to Albany Medical Center. She succumbed to her injuries on
Sunday, troopers said.
Her name was withheld pending notification of relatives.
The State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Livingston
barracks is currently conducting an investigation into the matter.
