POUGHKEEPSIE – A Poughkeepsie man was arrested on Thursday and charged by Dutchess County Sheriff’s deputies with inappropriate sexual contact.
Wayne Thatcher, 63, a local attorney, is accused of engaging in a continual course of inappropriate sexual conduct with a client. He was charged with two counts of forcible touching as misdemeanors – one in the Town of Poughkeepsie and the other in the City of Poughkeepsie.
Thatcher was released on his own recognizance pending future court appearances.
