Metro-North train cars derail near Rye

RYE – Four cars of an eastbound Metro-North train derailed just outside Rye during Thursday evening’s commute, delaying travel on the New Haven Line by about 25 minutes.
The impacted cars were all upright.
Emergency personnel evacuated approximately 250 people on the train. One passenger had what was called a “medical” issue.
