MOUNT PLEASANT – A 32-year-old
Mohegan Lake man was killed early this morning (Wednesday) when his 2008
Audi A6 ran off the northbound Taconic State Parkway in Mount Pleasant,
entered the median and struck several trees.
State Police said Jason Shenkman was pronounced dead at Westchester Medical
Center.
Troopers said speed appears to have been a contributing factor in the
crash, which occurred minutes after midnight on Wednesday.
The cause of Shenkman’s death is pending an autopsy and toxicology.
