TOWN OF DEERPARK – A student brought a dangerous item to the Hamilton Bicentennial School in the Town of Deerpark on Monday, officials of the Port Jervis City School District announced.
Elementary school administrators and Deerpark Police investigated the incident and determined there was no threat to the school or students.
Officials did not say what the dangerous item was.
District officials said they continue to make the safety of the children and staff a top priority.
