Cold Spring woman charged with burglarizing Cortlandt home

CORTLANDT – A Cold Spring woman was arrested on May 3 and charged with two felony counts of burglary.
State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Kathleen O’Donnell, 51, after they responded for a report of a burglary in progress at a home on Adele Court. Surveillance footage from the residence showed O’Donnell, who is related to the victim, inside the home.
O’Donnell’s SUV was spotted by state troopers in Cold Spring and was arrested. An investigation revealed this was the second time O’Donnell burglarized the residence, police said. She was charged previously for burglarizing the home on May 1.
O’Donnell was sent to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $2,000 bail or $10,000 bond pending a future court appearance.
