Neighborhood heroin dealers rounded up in Westchester; 18 arrested

Seized heroin, guns and cash

WHITE PLAINS – announced the arrests of 18 people on felony complaints after their arrests in connection with street level heroin sales in the Town of Greenburgh and City of White Plains.
They were all charged with criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance and conspiracy, all as felonies.
Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr. said many of the defendants were selling heroin to 25 customers or more, some on a daily basis.
Seized during the arrests were two loaded handguns, 2.5 kilos of heroin with a street value of $1.5 million and over $100,000 in cash.
The DA said some of those arrested were long-time drug dealers with lengthy felony records.
Participating in the operation were police in White Plains, Greenburgh, Yonkers and Port Chester, the Westchester County Department of Public Safety and the FBI Safe Street Task Force.
The names of 11 of those arrested were released:

Daryl Kyle, 63, of White Plains
Clifton Monk, 54, of White Plains
Bernard Pease, 59, of White Plains
Dwane Stennett, 56, of Yonkers.
