SUNY Sullivan enrollment efforts improved

LOCH SHELDRAKE – Student recruitment efforts have been improved
this academic year at SUNY Sullivan with higher enrollment expected in
the fall semester.
College interim President Jay Quaintance expects to have more than the 1,060 students attending classes this year.
“Since last year we have increased our recruiting staff considerably and our applications and accepted students rate is up considerably since where we were last year,” he said. “We are headed into the prime session for students to make their choices right now and we are very hopeful for the fall that we will be above where we were for this year which was we hit our targets for this year.”  
Quaintance is also hoping for more out-of-county students in the dormitories on-campus in the fall semester.
