Craft beers finding traditional ways of distribution

GOSHEN – One might think that with the growth of the craft beer industry in the region it is putting a squeeze on the traditional beer manufacturers.
Those conventional distributors have widened their product line to include
those locally produced brews. One such company is Dana Distributors in
Goshen, an Anheuser-Busch products distributor, noted its marketing manager
Tom Kennedy.
“We are doing a lot of New York State craft beers,” Kennedy said. “We have expanded our portfolio to the trend in the business. Some bars are just craft beer bars so we open them up with our products.”
Kennedy said Dana Distributors is sell locally produced beers from the Hudson Valley and Albany areas.
