Poughkeepsie man arrested in connection with March armed robbery

TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE – A Poughkeepsie man is in the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash bail or $200,000 bond following his arrest on Thursday in connection with an armed robbery last month.
Poughkeepsie Town Police spotted a man fitting the description of a suspect in the March 3 armed robbery in which an undetermined amount of cash was taken from a local establishment. The suspect, who was armed with a handgun, wore a mask.
When police spotted Bryan Hicks, 27, walking in the area, they interviewed him at headquarters and charged him with armed robbery. The gun used in the holdup was recovered.
