Milford, PA man arrested on several charges by Port Jervis Police

PORT JERVIS – A Milford,
Pennsylvania man has been arrested by Port Jervis Police and charged with
breaking into the Port Jervis Market Place, formerly Sav-a-Lot, and stole
money during the early morning hours of April 17,

Investigation into James Purcell, 32, determined he was wanted on a Port
Jervis City Court bench warrant. He was charged with felony burglary and
misdemeanor drug possession after he was found in possession of several
bags of heroin. He was also charged with failure to appear on a bench
warrant issued in 2014.

Purcell was arraigned and remanded to the Orange County Jail in lieu of
$25,000 cash bail on the burglary and larceny charges and an additional
$2,4000 cash bail on the drug possession charge.
