TOWN OF WALLKILL – Police are investigating the firing of several rounds of gunfire at 24 Patio Road in the Town of Wallkill. One of the rounds struck the residence.
Police Chief Robert Hertman said officers were called to that address at about 6:22 on Thursday morning for a report of gunfire. They discovered an unknown number of shots had been fired at about 9:30 the night before.
There were no reports of injuries.
