Supervisor Richard Williams: “… we in Patterson have a big heart …”

PATTERSON – Hundreds of chocolate lovers, wine enthusiasts and supporters of Putnam ARC enjoyed each other’s company and a variety of wines, nibbles and chocolates over the weekend at the 4th annual Hudson Valley Wine and Chocolate Festival.
Wineries were represented from throughout the region. Purveyors of everything from Pennsylvania Dutch pretzels to red velvet cupcakes, homemade peanut butter and jams and jellies kept guests busy all knowing they were benefitting the outstanding work conducted by PARC in assisting the county’s disabled population.
Jennifer Eckwerth, a veterinary technician from Mahopac said the afternoon was one of her favorites. “My friends and I were here last year and we promised to return. We are so glad that we did.”
Matt Chibbaro, Patterson Recreation director, described the festival as a “real fun way to raise money for PARC. We are so pleased that our recreation center is being used as the venue for the event.”
Dawn Arciola of Putnam Valley and her friend Tara Lawlor from Cold Spring were in attendance. “The ride from the western side of the county was well worth it,” said Arciola.
Patterson Supervisor Richard Williams also enjoyed the gathering. “Patterson may be one of our county’s smallest municipalities but our guests have quickly learned that we in Patterson have a big heart and know how to have fun and enjoyment.”
