OSHA investigates New Square construction fall

NEW SQUARE – A construction worker was transported to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla on Friday after he fell from the second-floor of a work site in the Village of New Square.
Ramapo Town Police, who investigated the incident, said the worker had fallen while unloading building supplies from a forklift.  He sustained serious injuries from the fall, police said.
The New Square building inspector was called to the scene and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration was notified and will investigate, police said.
