East of Hudson satisfaction at 90%, an increase
while West of Hudson stayed flat at 83%

NEW YORK – Customers appear to be more satisfied with service on Metro-North rail lines in the latest survey conducted by the railroad.
President Joseph Giulietti told the railroad committee of the MTA on Monday that the satisfaction rate was up in 2016.
“Peak period customers represent our most demanding market and 87 percent of them are satisfied with the railroad,” Giulietti said. “This is an increase of six points over 2015 and 22 points over 2014. Satisfaction among the reverse peak customers also rebounded dramatically and is up 19 points since 2014.”
On the three East of Hudson lines, customer satisfaction was up seven points to 90 percent. On the two West of Hudson lines, the ridership satisfaction rate was flat at 83 percent.
