Syracuse teen arrested in Sullivan County with stolen car

TOWN OF ROCKLAND – A Syracuse youth was charged on Monday with felony criminal possession of stolen property after he was stopped by State Police on Route 17 in the Town of Rockland.
A computer check revealed that Shyquest Powell, 16, was driving a 2015 Jeep that had been reported stolen to Syracuse police on March 5.
Powell sent to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.
