Gun menacing, drug charges lodged in Newburgh

NEWBURGH – A police investigation into a report of menacing with a gun at 264 First Street in Newburgh resulted in the arrests of three people.
City Police responded to that location at 6 p.m. on March 4 and observed a man matching the description of the suspect in the doorway of 230 First Street.  Nathaniel Burden, 47, of Newburgh, was charged with menacing.
During the investigation, officers recovered just under 200 grams of
crack cocaine, leading to the arrest of Connie Boykin, Jr., 45, and Darei
Hill, 37, and both charged with two counts of criminal possession of drugs.
All three were held pending arraignment in city court.
