MIDDLETOWN – The former Thrall Library building in Middletown has been empty for years ever since the facility moved nearby to the old train station, which was restored into a modern facility.
The old building on Orchard Street will be getting a new life, said Mayor Joseph DeStefano.
“We are advised by the broker that the property has been sold and we are waiting to meet with the new owners for a development plan to see how they wish to pursue things,” he said.
The three-story old building has just under 6,000 square feet.
