Yonkers man extradited from Scotland to face murder charge

WHITE PLAINS – A Yonkers man, who was wanted in the August 12,
2016 shooting death of another man in Yonkers, was extradited from Scotland,
where fled following a flight to Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Sheppard Adeghe, 31, was arraigned in Westchester County Court on Thursday
on charges of murder and criminal possession of a weapon in the killing
of Elias Flores, who suffered a single gunshot wound through his arm that
entered his chest.

Adeghe drove Flores to St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Yonkers, where
he died.

Adeghe remains incarcerated in the Westchester County Jail.

If convicted, Adeghe faces a maximum of 25 years to life in prison.
