TOWN OF NEWBURGH – Police are investigating a bank robbery in the Town of Newburgh.
The M&T Bank on Route 9W north was held up late Wednesday morning
and police scoured the area looking for a suspect. The robber entered
the bank while wearing a mask and made off with an undisclosed amount
of cash.
This is the latest in a rash of bank robberies in the town in recent months.
