WHITE PLAINS – A former
teacher in a Mamaroneck school, not in the school district, was sentenced
on Tuesday to three years and three months in federal prison for possessing
child pornography.
Lyle Kamlet previously pled guilty to one count of possessing child pornography.
From about 2008 through 2010, on a number of occasions, he ordered child pornography videos, some of which he directed to be mailed to the school where he was working at the time.
During a search of his residence, law enforcement seized videos and also found home movies he had created containing images of naked children.
