RHINEBECK – Police in Rhinebeck are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a minivan involved in a hit-and-run pedestrian incident.
At about 3:50 p.m. on February 21, a 19-year-old man was struck by a southbound vehicle on Mill Street in the Village of Rhinebeck. The pedestrian was in the crosswalk by the American Legion and the Citgo gas station.
The pedestrian was treated and released for a leg injury at MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie.
The vehicle fled the scene.
Police are seeking witnesses to the accident and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the minivan involved. Anyone with information is asked to call Rhinebeck Village Police at 845-876-8181.
