Two charged with felony drug possession in Red Hook

POUGHKEEPSIE – The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office arrested two teens and charged them with felony drug possession following a traffic stop on River Road in the Town of Red Hook during the early morning hours of Monday, February 20  Deputies stopped the vehicle after the driver failed to dim the high beams for oncoming traffic.
During investigation, officers found some 12 grams of suspected cocaine, leading to the arrests of two passengers, David Chen, 19, of Action, Massachusetts and Eric Diaz, 18, of New York City. The driver, Kyle Davis, 21, of Charlestown, South Carolina, was charged in connection with the traffic violation and possession of a small amount of marijuana.
