TOWN OF FALLSBURG – A Liberty man is jail after he allegedly broke into a Town of Fallsburg residence and then after being taken into custody, kicking out the rear window of the Fallsburg police marked patrol car.
Shaun Lyons, 32, was arrested after he broke into the home and stole clothing and other items. The occupant fled and called police and when Fallsburg officers arrived, they took Lyons into custody. He was sent to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
Fallsburg Police were assisted at the scene by State Police, Village of Liberty Police and New York City Department of Environmental Protection Police.
