NEWBURGH – A second man
was shot in Newburgh on Sunday. This time, a man suffered a non-life threatening
gunshot wound to his left arm. That occurred in the area of Liberty Street
and Henry Avenue minutes before 11 p.m.

City Police have yet to determine if this shooting has any connection
to the shootings early Sunday morning in which one man was shot to death
and three others were wounded. Gevontay Owens-Grant, 24, of Newburgh,
died in that first incident at 253 South William Street during a Valentine’s
Day party.

The man shot in the second incident was transported to St. Luke’s
Cornwall Hospital’s emergency room in Newburgh by a private vehicle.
Police are asking anyone with information to call them at 845-561-3131.
