TUXEDO – One person is reported dead and 14 others injured following
a crash between a car and a ShortLine bus on Route 17 just south of Route
17A in Tuxedo.
A total of 13 people are reported injured and taken to Good Samaritan
Hospital in Suffern.
The driver’s side corner of the bus looks like it collided with
the passenger side of the car, which appears to have swerved in its path.
Route 17 in the area was shut down in both directions – north and
south – while an accident reconstruction team conducts its investigation.
Tuxedo Police are handling the incident with assistance from the State
Police.
