Poughkeepsie man arrested in connection with two bank robberies

TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE – A City of Poughkeepsie man was arrested by Poughkeepsie Town Police and charged with first-degree robbery following an investigation into two robberies, the first on December 22, 2016 at a TEG Federal Credit Union branch in the Town of Poughkeepsie and the second at a Chase Bank branch in the Town of Newburgh on January 5, 2017.
Aldeimian Woolcock, 37, was arraigned in Poughkeepsie Town Court and
sent to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.
Newburgh Town Police said Wednesday that Woodcock would be arraigned
at an undetermined future date in connection with the Chase Bank robbery.
The arrest was the result of a multi-agency investigation that included town police in Poughkeepsie and Newburgh, the FBI Safe Streets Task Force and State Police.
