FISHKILL – State Police at the Wappinger bureau arrested a Middletown woman after she entered Downstate Correctional Facility in Fishkill to visit an inmate while she possessed a small amount of marijuana.
Julie DeWitt, 33, was charged with misdemeanor promoting prison contraband and unlawful possession of marijuana as a violation. She was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Fishkill Town Court.
State Police were assisted by a state Department of Corrections and Community Supervision K-9 unit.
