GREENBURGH – An Almost
Presidential Museum/Library has been proposed in Westchester County by
Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner.

The facility, which would be privately funded, could be located at any
one of the colleges in the county, he said.

The town supervisor said it would recognize the contributions of Hillary
Clinton and the other presidential candidates who almost became president,
winning the popular vote but losing the Electoral College vote.

“It would have archives of Hillary Clinton’s presidential
campaign papers and her public service papers as well as papers and information
about the other four presidential candidates who won the popular votes
but lost the Electoral College,” he said.
Those other four candidates are John Quincy Adams who lost to Andrew
Jackson; Sam Tilden, who lost to Rutherford B. Hayes; Grover Cleveland,
who lost to Benjamin Harrison; and Al Gore, who lost to George W. Bush.
