Calvin, Hobbes and D Angelis

BREWSTER – Calvin and Hobbes are two eight-month-old Nigerian Dwarf
goats that now call the Tilly Foster Farm in Brewster home.
The animals are “miniature dairy goats bred of West African ancestry,” according to Tilly Foster animal caretaker and veterinarian technician Teresa De Angelis.
The goats will grow to 21 inches tall and weigh more than 75 pounds when mature. They are known for their diminutive size and low maintenance as well as their rich milk which is used to make cheese.
De Angelis said the goats are “good companion pets” that are gentle and friendly.
In conjunction with the revitalization of Tilly Foster, the farm is now home to several animals including chickens, Kunekune pigs, Huacaya Alpacas and two miniature horses with more animals to come, said De Angelis.
