FISHKILL – State Police arrested a Newburgh woman on charges that she brought Suboxone into Fishkill Correctional Facility with the intent of providing it to an inmate.
Brittany Shay, 39, was charged on January 8 with promoting prison contraband and possession of a controlled substance, both as felonies. Shay was arraigned and released on her own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
State Police were assisted by the State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision Office of Special Investigations.
