BLOOMINGBURG – State Police
have arrested a Bloomingburg couple for felony criminal possession of
a firearm and other charges.

On Friday, December 30, 2016, troopers from the Wurtsboro barracks stopped
a 1995 Jeep Cherokee on Wurtsboro Mountain Road near Dogwood Loop South.
While interviewing the driver, Zachary Nevin, 24, he told them his license
to drive in New York was suspended, which was verified by the state DMV.

While performing a vehicle inventory of the SUV, a loaded handgun along
with several prescription medications and packaging for heroin were recovered
near the front seat passenger, Aryana Davill, 17. Her 11-month-old daughter
was a rear seat passenger.

Both Nevin and Davila were charged with criminal possession of a weapon,
endangering the welfare of a child and several counts of misdemeanor drug
possession.

They were both committed to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $30,000
cash bail.
