Man stabbed to death in New Rochelle

NEW ROCHELLE – A man who
was stabbed in the chest in front of 138 Winthrop Avenue in New Rochelle
Thursday evening died early Friday morning in the hospital.

City Police responded to a call of a disturbance at that location at 6:37
p.m. and they found the victim, who was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center
in the Bronx where he died at 1 a.m. on Friday.

New Rochelle Police located a woman in the vicinity of the incident believed
to have been a participant. Her name is being withheld as she has not
been charged with any crime at this point.
There are no suspects at large, police said. The participants were known
to each other. The case is being investigated as a homicide.

New Rochelle Police were assisted by the New York City Medical Examiner’s
Office and the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office.
