POUGHKEEPSIE – The two men found dead in a capsized pickup truck in a partially frozen pond in the Town of North East have been identified as local men.
State Police said the driver, Otto Eisermann, 33, of North East, was traveling east on Weils Road in the town at around 7:20 a.m. on December 23 when his vehicle ran off the road and overturned in the water.
Eisermann and his passenger, Billyjack Hubert, 30, also of North East, were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are continuing their investigation of the accident.
