One killed when pickup strikes tree Leptondale

TOWN OF NEWBURGH – Police are investigating a fatal accident on Quaker Street in the Leptondale area of the Town of Newburgh.
One died in the mid-afternoon accident when a pickup truck slammed into a tree.
Town Police were still investigating and would not reveal if the victim was male or female.
