TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE – Police are looking for a man who held up the TEG Federal Credit Union branch at 11 Marist Drive in the Town of Poughkeepsie Thursday around 2 in the afternoon.
The suspect is described as a black man with white or cream colored makeup
on his face to lighten his complexion, between 30 and 40 years of age,
about five feet, 10 inches to five feet, 11 inches tall, and weighing
about 185 to 190 pounds.   He was wearing a blue flannel print
winter jacket, tan winter hat and black gloves.
No weapon was displayed. He fled on foot toward Route 9 with an undetermined amount of cash.
Poughkeepsie officers were assisted at the scene by a K-9 Unit from the Dutchess County sheriff’s Office.
Anyone who may have witnessed someone in the area fitting the description of the robber is asked to call the Detective Division of Poughkeepsie Town Police at 845-485-3670.
